Sky leather is a premium synthetic material specifically engineered for high-exposure applications. Unlike standard vinyl or PU leather, sky leather is manufactured with multiple bonded layers that give it the look and feel of genuine leather while dramatically outperforming it in UV resistance, water resistance, and wear characteristics.

Why Sky Leather Beats Real Leather on Motorcycles

Real leather looks beautiful on a sofa, but on a motorcycle seat that lives outdoors, it's a liability. Here's why sky leather wins:

• UV Resistance: Real leather fades and cracks after prolonged sun exposure. Sky leather maintains its colour and flexibility for years, even in direct sunlight.
• Water Resistance: Get caught in the rain? Sky leather repels water completely. No soaking, no water stains, no mould. Just wipe and ride.
• Grip: Sky leather provides consistent grip in both wet and dry conditions. Real leather can become slippery when wet or sticky when hot.

Care and Maintenance

One of the biggest advantages of sky leather is how easy it is to maintain:

1. Regular cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap every few weeks. That's it.
2. Deep cleaning: For stubborn dirt, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid solvents.
3. Protection: While sky leather has built-in UV protection, applying a UV protectant spray once a season extends its life even further.

• Sky Leather (recommended): Best all-round choice. Looks premium, handles weather, grips well. Our default and most popular option.
• Alcantara: Suede-like microfiber with excellent grip. Premium feel, but requires more maintenance. Best for track or fair-weather riders.
• Vinyl Premium: Budget-friendly option that still looks great. Slightly less breathable but very durable and easy to clean.
